NewsOne of the largest retail events, the Retail World Expo, was successfully held in Singapore from 22nd to 23rd April. With pleasure, we support this meaningful event and participated in it together with our partner “Urovo Technology”.
More than 8000 visitors from all areas of the retailing industry came to find out the latest news, discover new technologies, listen to interesting seminars and to network.
During the two day exhibition, we presented our PARROT Voice technology to a broad audience. We let the visitors try the voice directed warehouse operations and explained to them how a Human-and-Machine dialogue together with hands-free features makes the warehouse operations more flexible, efficient and safe.
Thanks a lot to all of you, who have visited our booth, watched the presentation and supported us!

Movilizer enters into a Joint Venture with the Schmidt Electronics Group to form Manila Labs
NewsMannheim (Germany)/ Manila (Philippines), Jan 2014 – Movilizer Asia Pacific, a joint venture between Movilizer GmbH and the Schmidt Electronics Group, located in Hong Kong will open its newly established technical support centre “Manila Labs” in the Philippines.
Manila was selected as location for the technical support centre because of its extensive network of young professionals fluent in English and with experience in SAP ERP and other backend systems like Oracle, Salesforce.com and Microsoft.
The plan is to establish a team of over 30 experts before the end of 2016. The existing SAP and Oracle Expert competence centers of Schmidt Electronics Group (also based in Manila) will be working closely with Movilizer.
Due to a time difference (GMT+8), the Manila based Movilizer office will handle the support and training tasks, which will benefit the existing (multi-national) customers in the region. In the future Movilizer will also be able to serve the growing demand of its customers in the Asia Pacific market with local resources.

The Asian Pacific region is becoming an increasingly important market for Movilizer and we are happy to leverage on the local market knowledge of our partner Schmidt, for many years a regional leader in industrial mobile system integration,” says Alberto Zamora, Member of the Managing Board at Movilizer.

Joint Training with HKPC
NewsOn the 29th & 30th of May 2014 SCHMIDT-iSOFT and HKPC (Hong Kong Productivity Council) co-organized a training on Warehouse Management for audiences from various industries in Hong Kong. Our aim was to promote productivity excellence for industries to enhance competitiveness and sustainability.
SCHMIDT-iSOFT’S Head of Solution Development took the time to share the latest innovation in the Warehouse Management by demonstrating the integration of PARROT Voice Technology and the daily warehouse operations.
During the training the audience was impressed of our latest innovative solution and technology and got the chance to experience it for themselves. All in all it was a great turn out and good way to share new solution and technology ideas.
